  • Cleaning up the passenger floorboard

I spent some time this evening cleaning up the passenger floorboard. I have a LOT of welding to do there! I'm going to do some more practicing tomorrow. To view tonight's video click the link below http://www.project240z.com/tabid/54/itemid/20/Cleaning-up-the-Passenger-Floor.aspx

  • My Motivation

I was digging through some old photos tonight looking for photos of Jeff Krekeler, when I ran across this photo I took back in June of 2004.   When I get bored, lazy, or tired of working on the Project240z, I only have to look at that photo and realize what I'm striving for. That car is beautiful, and I hope my car can one day ...

  • 240Z, the Journey home

So this morning I got up and finished up what I could get done on the project car, a 1978 280Z 2+2, courtesy of our very own Lynn Wilson, Thanks Lynn!!! I had planned to remove the diff from the car this morning, along with the door lock from the passenger door, ignition switches and such as well. I got the switches and locks, but had a hell of a ...

  • Project 240Z Update?

What's the latest on the Project 240Z? Not much! With the wedding and Holidays I haven't touched the car much since the last work I did on the parts car in October, I did get the 240Z out of the driveway, moved it to a secluded shop over in Illinois for some winter storage. I'm glad I did, otherwise it would have had a nice coating of ice and ...

  • Re: What happened?

o2mo4u:  Chris, I see you sold the z.  Are you running one of the other z's?  is there even a comparison to the 350? I won't know if there's a comparison for quite a while. The 240Z won't be ready till the springtime. I doubt there will be much comparison, when done the 240z should be in a totally different ...

  • 240Z gambling

$50 from Jeef that the car won't be street legal/licensed by May 2007. $50 from Krek that I won't compete at the first STL event for 2007 in my 1973 240Z. Barring any unforeseen trips out of town that weekend for work. Anyone else care to help "fund" the development of the car with any other bets?
