I won't argue that he isn't good, but it doesn't hurt that he also has the best equipment.  Give Nico Rosberg or even Button a year to practice, then a seat in the best car and see what they can do.  He really only has one guy to beat and at Indy he only had to beat him into the first corner of the first lap.

Yeah, but he held off Alonso's charge as well.  It was a strong drive.  Not a McLaren fan, but I don't mind watching Hamilton win, especially since he put Alonso in his place

Kimi's drive was pretty lackluster, Massa drove smart and picked up the most points he could yesterday.  I was really impressed with the drives from Liuzzi and Trulli.  Obviously not the best cars, but they took the fight to those faster.  Also nice to see Heikki doing as well as I expected him to.

 I was amazed by the number of mistakes under braking.  A little strange.

Do you mean at turn 1?  I would suspect they don't realize how fast they are going after being WOT for 23sec or so.

T1 & T4.  Heidfeld locked up and spun in 1 while running by himself in P4.  Fissi spun in 4 on lap 2.  Sato did the same thing a bit later and got stuck.  I feel like someone else did it to but can't think of who at the moment.  And obviously there was Weber's no-way-in-hell-this-is-going-to-work passing attempt on Trulli towards the end, but at least that was a passing attempt of sorts rather than being on line and locking up.

also saw that "Red Bull announced on July 6th that David Coulthard's contract has been extended to the end of the 2008 season."  Think it's time for him to retire to sports cars or DTM.  With Webber locked up too, there goes any slim shot Scott Speed might of had of moving up next year.  I'd bet he'll be a test driver or in Champ Car next year as it seems pretty clear he won't be at TR.

 

Red Bull look interesting this weekend.  Covered in thousands of tiny faces of people who donated to a charity.
