Pretty good race. Who knows how the results would've changed had Kimi started at a better position than dead last. If his car stays in one piece next time, he'll give Alonso a run for his money, again! Schumi and Ferrari appear to be back.  Button finished solidly, though he seems to take awhile to get hot when the race starts. Nico Rosberg was very impressive. Scott Speed ran respectable in his debut. Toyota sucked yet again...right, Jeff S? Stick out tongue [:P] Super Aguri was expected to be bad, but they ran REALLY bad.

and only two more days til the next one.  Remember if you're watching it's on at midnight.  It seems as if the B'stones are like what Michelin was 2-3 yrs ago, in that they are taking several laps to get up to temp and performance.  Michelins are supposedly faster right off, but Bridgestones are faster after 4-5 laps.  Could Kimi be any more monotone in his interviews?

    Re: FORMULA 1 THIS WEEKEND!!

I give credit to SA for actually finishing!

Button apparently had clutch problems and the slower Renault and McLaren both had engine mapping issues that put them down on power compared to the lead cars Confused [8-)]  No excuses for Toyota though Stick out tongue [:P]

it is nice to see (well, read about in my case) Ferrari being back on the pace and only losing due to pit stops.  Should be a great year!

What a drive by Kimi, 22nd to 3rd It looks like this is going to be a good season with McLaren, Honda, Ferrari and the frogs battling it out up front. and I hearby put my cheer in for McLaren and Kimi for the championship
I'm moving to Theory, everything works there.

Ha, toyota has you all fooled. Given the money invested, they are obviously the best and the fastest... they're just sandbagging as to not make all the other teams upset.  Smile [:)]

Or maybe they'll blame both drivers for their lack of success, and get Kimi for next year as part of their "rebuilding". Stick out tongue [:P]

That was a pretty darn good race, we watched some of it last night and the rest today. Michael will win again, I promise but Renault looks really good.

I'm feeling sorry for kimi though, he has nothing but bad luck.  I would love to see how Nico will do through the season and hopefully he can get on a good team next year.

and Williams isn't a good team??  I think they're as good as everybody but Renault and maybe McL.  Cossie looks like a pretty good engine.  It looks like they might want to drop the revs down a couple though. The two race rule is gonna make for some interesting start orders when half of the teams have to switch every race.

I didn't mean it like that.  I think huge budget would have been a better term for what I meant.  But as we can see with Toyota that a huge budget doesn't mean race wins.  I'm just mainly excited to see what he can do with a car, any car.

I think Nico is a great up and comer. With a papa like he has it is certainly in his blood.

Ditto. I can't see how Kimi possibly going to Toyota would be a good fit. Assuming Renault will be around in 2007, that'd be something if Kimi went over there, basically making a swap of top drivers between McLaren and Renault. I felt bad for Rosberg's car going kaput. I think he has ALOT of potential, and will make a mark in F1 as soon as this year!

JB is gonna get so smoked by the Renaults at the start.  Hope Schumi can work his way to the front.
