Yes, but they were both originally listed on the entry list to run.  I "heard" that there was some kinda parts/mech. issue with getting both grpN cars ready in time.  Also heard that there is a chance of SRT USA running a car in Prod./gpN Championship next year so maybe they wanted to save some money and face by just doing recce.

Christian mentioned at 100AW that SRT-USA had told him to keep the week that happens to coincide with Rally New Zealand open.  Make of  that what you will.

At least both fords crashed.

Both factory cars and one privateer.  And when Hirvonen rolled his car he broke the carbon spoiler, then some guy ran off with it as a souvenir.
