We've got quite a list compiled for the ITA Neon. Lots of suspension stuff going on, one of which was installing a set of XX-High springs provided by Performance Driven LLC and will now be sporting 380# rate Front & 276# rate Rear springs vs the 225# Front/185# Rear that were on it last year. We're very excited about these springs and can't wait to see how they perform. We're also converting some of the lower control arm bushings to Spherical units while replacing some of the other bushings with either delrin or poly... probably poly due to time factor (we can buy them off the shelf). The car already has the poly bushings but some of them are starting to look a little rough around the edges.

A new 22mm rear bar will replace the 19mm bar currently on the car. We'll be playing with the front bar as well and testing the FWD/Remove the front bar theory and see what happens. Wheels are staying stock 14x6 for now, but we're keeping our eyes out for a set of 15x6.5/7's to play around with. The stock intake and cast iron manifold along with the stock catalityc converter were replaced with an AFX header and new intake. Hopefully they'll really help with the powerband.

Currently, we've just finished up fabbing the brake ducts that wrap around the strut housings and feed cool air directly into rotor vanes and the hub area. Hopefully that will help on the hub and bearing replacements and we'll be able to get a little more life out of the sets. NACA ducts are on their way to integrate into the stock bumper cover and work around the radiator frame that unfortunately is right in the way of the stock fog light holes. A new aluminum airdam has been fabbed up and installed as of yesterday. A lower brace between the lower control arm mounts is in the works, but may be put on hold in favor of making progress on the cage. Cage pad prep will start in earnest tomorrow and dash removal will begin this evening.
