Time's flying by .... almost February already. Racing season is just around the corner, and my schedule is showing it!
Since my last update I was able to finish up 07's season with the help of Bud & Trey Scott and the POS-7. After that was another Porsche cage for NASA's Spec 944 class.

Once the 944 was picked up, a Fox body Mustang rolled in for some updates to its cage pads as well as some seat frame mods so the driver could actually fit in his car!
The Fox body was picked up on the Friday before the last snow storm which cleared the path for the next project to come in.

In order to stay ahead of schedule, I offered to pick the next cage project (ITR BMW 325i) up as the owner had yet to tow a car with a trailer, AND there was 4" of snow on the ground. Other than changing a flat tire on the Durango in 3" of Slush on the side of the road, having the trunk lid just about fly up and crack the back window (car was loaded up backwards and had a broken trunk lock mechanism) the pick up was fairly uneventful.
The cage install was going very well. I was cooking along and two weeks ahead of schedule (!!!!!) when it hit.... 16.5 lbs of terror. A pink clad monster attacked me during her diaper change.
She was able to lay me out for a week. HA! BUNDLE OF JOY!!!! Bundle of twisted, knarled up pain is more like it!
While changing my daughters diaper, I blew something out in my back which laid me out on the floor for the better part of an hour, unable to move much more than my fingers. Never felt pain like that before, and hope to never feel it again! Luckily I went in that day to the chiropracters at Pro-Active Chiropractic out in Arnold, MO and a week later I was back at it... albeit a little gingerly. Pretty amazing considering that I had to have help to walk, lay down etc for the first 4 days after.
So... there went my 2 weeks! I finished up the 325 last week and now the "Plan B Racing / Izzy's Custom Cages LLC / Performance Driven LLC " Improved Touring A Dodge Neon ACR is in the shop ready to start it's new cage as well as a ton of upgrades that are planned.
Hopefully, I'll be a little better on updates to the blog... but no promises... I've gotta get that 2 weeks back!
