PDX this Sunday!!!

Woohoo!! The PDX is this Sunday at GIR... wait.. THE PDX IS THIS SUNDAY!!!!!! ACK!!!! I've hardly touched the RX7 since the ITS Porsche came in for the cage. I've got to change the oil/filter (hmmm synthetic might help that SpyHunter effect that was going on at the T&T...) swap the Toyo RA-1s for the Goodyear's I just had mounted up at Autotire in Ballwin (THANKS KEITH!!!) and install my rewebbed harness', which doesn't sound like that big of a deal until 2 hours later when you're still trying to avoid pulling the seat out to get the sub strap installed. Other than that, all that's left is to load it up on the trailer, but I hate loading in the rain, so hopefully Saturday has some dry times.

Having the car over at the track by 7am when the crossover closes is going to be a feat though. Heck, worse case scenerio is that I unload outside the fence and drive it through the tunnel :D

The T1 Viper is almost finished. Everything's back together and painted. TPR is just waiting on the new seat to show up to fit the driver to it.

The ITS Porsche cage is finished on my end. Owner's still going to have some work left before the car hits the track again, but just little stuff... paint, padding & sunroof attachment.

I just finished up installing the Simpson Right Side net

and I must say that I don't like them compared to the other RSN's that I've installed like the Hutchens/Safety Solutions net.

There's very little adjustibility in the Simpson piece and once you're in the drivers seat, there's zero. If the release accidently gets pulled it's time to play tug of war and you'd better hope you have an extra hand to fasten the latch.

Here's a little look at how a RSN works:
