Done!

The Wells machine will be heading back home tomorrow, and then it's back to the Horseless Carriage replica and then a short breather.

Been a little busier than anticipated the last 3 weeks. Finished up the Porsche 968 cage, pulled it out of the shop to work on the Carriage for a day before a doorbar update came in for a couple of days, then the Wells mobile for a week. Whew! No rest yet though as the Carriage has to be done by the 27th. All that's really left on it is some painting, installing some real hardware and not the temporary scrounged bits from around the shop, fabrication of the fenders and a few other odds & ends.

Was busy last week running Timing & Scoring for Kit Car Magazines "Run-N-Gun" event over at Gateway. I thought it'd be a snore-fest but they did their best to keep me awake. Last minute transponder changes, a numbers snaffu, 3 guys w/o transponders in the same group all running within a couple of seconds. Did I mention that they were mostly Cobra Kit Cars and that most of them are either Blue w/white stripes, or Red w/white stripes? w/ 6" tall #'s? Yeah, that'll keep you on your toes :D Good event though and a great bunch of guys.
