I've discovered the secret to wrenching happiness... Well, I didn't discover it, it's been around for quite some time, I just now came to realize it though.
It's a third car.
The third car is liberating! If the daily driver experiences Murphy's law... hop in the third car and run up to the parts store or junkyard. If the wife's car breaks down at the exact same time (which has happend to me ... twice).... guess what!!!! You've still got the third car!! No more thrashing to get the daily driver fixed after work (or in my night shift case, before work) or on the precious weekend. If it doesn't get fixed in time, no worries! You'll still make it to work or the thousand other things that had to get done.
I know what you're thinking... what if the third car breaks down? If that happens, fate's gunning for you so sit back and laugh at yourself.
