It seems like everyone and their brother are building Spec Miatas! GREAT!!!
The roll cage installation in the Spec Miata is going very well. The owner of the car has had some very specific requirements that have proven to be a challenge as one decision will ultimately affect another. The owners “theme” for the car is circles, so the bulkhead holes, seat, steering wheel, gussets etc, are part of a running theme. He also wanted the rear hoop braces to be swept back as far as possible rather than what most Spec Miata's seem to run (which are usually mounted near the suspension pick-up points). Of course that put the pass-through hole for the rear braces right where the bulkhead doubles up. Nothing like a challenge!
