We got the Koni's for Buzz today!!!!!! Thanks Dave.
The brakes from The Brake Man will be here on Monday.
The hood from Harwood came in yesterday too. Interestingly, the hood was delivered via truck because of its size. So yesterday Jude got a call from the driver saying that he was at our house and wanted to know where we were because someone needs to sign off on the delivery. Well, Jude was in the city working and could not get home soon so he asked the driver to please deliver it to Curt's shop, AFI. The driver said that would be fine but how should he turn his truck around! This was a full size 18 wheeler, Jude said that he did not know what he should do about turning around because as many of you know we live on a state highway and have a fairly narrow driveway. There is certainly no place to turn a full size 18 wheeler around. When Jude got home he expected to find damage to the yard but lo and behold, you could not even tell that a full size 18 wheeler had been at our house much less got in and out. Very impressive.
We got the fire system in early this week. I think that we have finally accumulated all of the last bits and pieces to complete Buzz. He should be ready for a motor this weekend.
His debut will be at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit on April 14th and I cannot wait.
On a more personal note, things are great. I love my husband and have great friends. My mom got some great signatures from the Cardinals spring training for me and is back down there to try to get some more. Baseball is almost here!!!!! GO CARDS!
