More UPS Insurance rants. I hate ups!

So I just got a bill from UPS today! $197.61.

What the f? Screw you UPS. Your damn truck hits my car, the driver's too stupid to notice, that's called a hit and run. Then you guys try to say it's my fault cause he can't keep his truck in his own lane?

I don't think so...

Wanna here my story? I am so glad that there are others starting cults against this poop-bag of a company. I ordered a new cell phone over the internet and even paid extra for two day delivery. Well, the package arrived at my address, just not the address that i live at. dont get it? UPS tracking swears the delivered it to my address and left it on my porch. maybe A PORCH, but certainly not mine. I'm pretty sure that it was not stolen since my boyfriend was home, and he had checked within the hour.
I called customer service and they said, "oh, we'll issue a tracer right away." They did, but closed the tracer before any information was found, making me have to call back and have another one issued. that's still going on. i have three more days. we'll see if i ever get my phone or if i'm just out a couple hundred bucks...

Mindy,

This is one of the scams that UPS pulls. This isn't a conspiracy of direct action by UPS employees though, it is a group effort of incompetence by taking any means possible to report a tracer as positive/voided. They probably got the tracer saw that the tracking system said it was delivered to right address and closed it positive or voided the claim without any further action. This dance can go on for a long time. Most likely this driver will have multiple claims of this type, but nothing will be done to him or to correct the problem. After all UPS has more important things to do than their job the right way. Did you get your problem straightened out?
