UPS' insurance carrier sucks...

Never never never never not get a police report from an accident.... Liberty Mutual (UPS' insurance carrier) is dragging their feet on paying for the damage caused to the Z. They say they have photos of the lane I was in and that it's not a driving lane. I said it sure as hell is a driving lane, and now they have to send someone out to take photos, which is going to take another two weeks.... I hate being a nice guy, nice guys always get screwed.

Liberty Mutual will do anything, anything to not pay a claim.

They are dishonest. In their handbook it's told to settle quick and cheap.

I am also having major problems with Liberty Mutual. I had a single car accident on a wet interstate back in August. Libery Mutual recommended a horrible auto shop, Gerber Collision, which took 3 months to damage my car worse than it was before the accident AND install parts incorrectly AND paint it the wrong color. I then had Liberty Mutual move my car to a better repair shop. They have wasted 2 more weeks just getting out to look at the car. The car has ~17000 dollars in damage but Liberty Mutual refuses to total it out. If you know someone who uses Liberty Mutual, get them to switch to Amica or Allstate immediately.

I have owned body shops since the late 50's. The last LM car I had was in 95. It was my brothers car and Liberty wanted to use all junkyard and taiwan parts on his 2 year old Caddy and pay about a third of what it would cost to do the job right. I threw them and the car out and they have not been allowed back since. He went to a Liberty Mutual "DRP' shop where they did exactly what they were told. His car was ruined and they had to total it and make the shop eat the price of the reapir because it couldn't be re-done right. I had a freind who had his harley backed over by a UPS truck at LAX and LM tried to pay a check for 3k on the spot. He refused and got the bike fixed properly including a new frame and it took a team of lawyers 2 years to get him reimbursed. As far as UPS (OOPS), I wouldnt use them. Theyre great people....til you have a lost/damage claim then they do everything but handle it.

Liberty Mutual was also Sears carrier. I understand your frustrations. Try dealing with a major retailer and Ms. Liliana Estrada at Liberty Mutual. They don't care.
Ms. Estrada responded to my questions by saying I Don't Know. A Supervisor was never available. I Don't Know is not an answer. Ms. Estrada suggested I call the manufacture. They wrote a letter and denied our claim without even sending an adjuster to our home. They had all the documentation stating the manufacture and retailer (Sears) was wrong. Do not use Liberty Mutual.

I work with liberty mutual I dont for them but I can tell you why they ever wanna pay out. first of all they toss around money for themselves like its water, they spend so much money overnighting letters and boxes to another building 2 blocks away, and if Liberty pays out for claims then Liberty employees woudlnt be able to drive around in there brand new 40,000 suv's that only get 2 miles to a gallon, Liberty Mutual makes me sick you experience more when you work with them and realize how pathetic they are last year they reeled in 19.0 billion dollars.

Dan, you’re too dumb to work for anything other than sitting on your coach. Your grammar is bad, your spelling is worse and your breath probably stinks.

Don't take liberty mutual. I have a work comp injury an dmy adjuster has been putting roadblaocks.

She is acting as if I have to go through her to get referral to a specialist and she has been misinforming the specialist about me. These people it seems will do anything to shut out a claim. I have a nurse case manager that has playe dreverse psychology on me. They assign these nurse case managers to hound you and close out your claim. thes epeople are unethical.

I don't get all of this at all. I have a neighbor who has a full scale motocross race track built on his property.. jumps, etc....which he rides on with his buddies. On professional level bikes. The noise is deafening. He's absolutely destroyed the quality of life here, to say nothing of property values.....and yet, when the neighbors sued, the guy's basic HOMEOWNERS policy from Liberty Mutual defended him all the way to settlement. They don't pay legitimate claims or drag their feet, but.......then they go and defend something like this?  What is with this company? Every time I see their new commercials -- do the right thing -- i feel sick.
