16 Replies and 567 Views Anybody have some spring compressors?  567  16 Started by  carl_aka_carlos Does anyone have some spring compressors I can borrow Chris, I know I still have yours, but due to the design of my struts they will not work.  I'm looking for anyone who has the 'claw' style spring compressors.  Auto parts stores don't rent those.  If I have to, I'll buy some, but I figure someone has to have some I could borrow.

16 Replies and 951 Views The POS-7 lives!  951  16 Started by  BDSCT51 After a lot of cussing, sweat, tears, grime, and a trip to the hospital.....the ITA POS-7 is alive and well! Just a few more little things and it will be ready for a logbook inspection. I drove it around the parking lot at the eastside garage for about twenty minutes yesterday. The only problem I encountered was an upside down rear sway bar. (Don't ask and yes alcohol was involved!) It will make its track day debut on Friday the 26th at the SCCA's test day. Its first race, barring testing catast...

2 Replies and 600 Views V is gone...  600  2 Started by  Rande H I am now sans V.  I traded it in to get more room to haul customer parts and to drop my payment.  The new ride you ask  Nothing exciting, a 2007 Chevy Equinox LT (AWD) silver with chrome wheels.  It is a nice enough vehicle, does its job and looks pretty good.  Would have preferred black though-but I want this car to be an incentive to get financials straightened and get back on track.  Plus with my walking cast I can actually drive this car unlike both the V and M...

3 Replies and 1277 Views Awesome price on Mobil 1 synthetic oil @ walmart  1277  3 Started by  JeffS I just stocked up on Mobil 1 last night...  The Walmart store in St. Charles (Zumbehl exit) has 5 quart jugs of Mobil one synthetic oil for $19.94, which is an unbeatable price. It was marked as a 'rollback price' and not a sale, so I'm hoping it stays that way. Just a heads up....
