1 Replies and 1495 Views Transmission cooler question...  1495  1 Started by  conbon Hello. First post here, and&160;I was wondering if you guys can answer a question for me. I'm looking to start autocrossing my car next season, but sadly its an automatic transmission, so I'd really like to ad a transmission cooler since my transmission is notorious for failing rather quickly due to overheating. I was wondering, what are the class requirements for running a transmission cooler I'd like to start of in stock class, but I'm wondering if adding a cooler would bump me to another cl...

4 Replies and 1113 Views 2006 Mazda3s.  1113  4 Started by  airdoc1975 I am being kicked out of Novice (N-FSP) after this season and am wondering what class to run in. My car has a modified stock intake, cat-back, Eibach springs and I want to continue running the stock 17 inch wheels. I have been told that I am running STS times on street tires and should move into that class and others have recommended FSP since thats what I ran as a novice. I also plan to run with R-compounds in the future. Thanks....

5 Replies and 1090 Views 1995 M3 Classing Question  1090  5 Started by  DZickel Hey guys, I just bought a 95 M3 and cannot wait till the next autocross. It does not have a lot done to it, Bilstein/H&R, Camber Plates,  B&M Short Shift Kit and a Turner Motorsport Conforti Stage 2 Kit. I am trying to gauge what class i will run in. I Figure that with everything done and without the Conforti Kit, i would be in STU. But I am not sure what class i would be in with the Conforti Kit.  The Kit comes with: 3.5'' HFM, Intake, 24lb injectors (Stock are 17.5) and...

0 Replies and 1474 Views SCCA Solo class for Porsche 924 2.0 with Carbs?  1474  0 Started by  tmb-racing I am going to a hillclimb that recognizes SCCA road race and solo rules. The car was a legal ITB road race car, but I just added dual 40 webers. I thought last year on the internet I saw a class listed for the 924 2.0 with carbs but do not see it this year. Any help would be appreciated. Thank-you all, Andrew

2 Replies and 1083 Views 2008 Civic LX Sedan - alloy wheels?  1083  2 Started by  sullivant41 I recent bought a 2008 Civic LX Sedan.  I think it should run in H Stock, in stock form (no changes).   My question has to do with alloy wheels.  Last year (my first in SCCA Solo II), I ran a 1999 Accord sedan.  The Solo activity ate up my front tires, so I'm thinking of getting a set of alloy wheels for the Civic with tires just for Soloing.  The 2008 Civic LX comes with 16' wheels, but I've not been able to discover their width.  Looking at 16' alloy w...

1 Replies and 949 Views Anyone know what class I will fit in?  949  1 Started by  GTPKeith I ran my old fiero a few times several years ago but I had to get rid of it. Now after several vehicles that were not that great I got a car that is going to be fun to play with. I know it probably won't be competitive but I would like to try autocrossing my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. It is completely stock now with the Supercharged 3.8 liter V6. So if anyone knows what class I would fit in I would love to know so I can go have some fun chasing cones.
